The short version #

We collect your email address if you subscribe to the newsletter. We use cookie-free analytics that don't track you. We don't sell your data to anyone.

Email addresses #

If you subscribe to our newsletter, your email address is collected and managed by Buttondown. We use it to send you new posts. That's it.

• Unsubscribe: Every email has an unsubscribe link. One click, you're out.
• Delete your data: Email contact@yousuckatdaytrading.com and we'll remove your address from Buttondown.
• What Buttondown stores: Your email address, subscription date, and basic engagement data (opens, clicks). See Buttondown's privacy policy for details.

Analytics #

We use Plausible Analytics, which is cookie-free and does not collect personal data. No IP addresses are stored. No cross-site tracking. No profiles built.

Story submissions #

If you submit a trading story via the site, it's sent as an email to contact@yousuckatdaytrading.com. We don't store submissions in a database or on a server. If we publish your story, it's published anonymously — we won't expose your real name or email.

Hosting #

This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) as part of normal hosting operations. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for details.

Cloudflare may set a __cf_bm cookie for bot detection. This is a functional cookie used for security purposes — it does not track you across sites and is exempt from consent requirements under the ePrivacy Directive.

Cookies #

We do not set any first-party cookies. The only cookie you may encounter is Cloudflare's __cf_bm bot management cookie, which is strictly functional.

Your rights #

Whether you're covered by GDPR, CCPA, or similar privacy laws, you have the right to:

• Access the data we hold about you
• Delete your data (email contact@yousuckatdaytrading.com)
• Port your data to another service
• Opt out of the newsletter at any time

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties. We do not run ads. We do not build profiles.
